Infographics are visuals that tell a story. They are used by organizations and individuals to represent knowledge through photographs, sketches, pie charts, graphs, flow charts, tables, boxes with minimal text, and other creative ways to make information and knowledge come alive visually. Simple infographics can be designed through basic word-processing applications, or more elaborate infographics can be created through story-telling software. Here are some infographics used to depict jobs and related roles. You can easily match the job titles that are represented below—Decontamination Specialist, Graphic Artist, Human Resources Manager, Human Resources Specialties, and Nurse Recruiter. What kinds of infographics will you create for your next knowledge management document?
